Ferraria de São João Schist Trail- walking loop, starting and ending in the MTB. We advise you to do it anti-clockwise, turning right in the village center to pass byt the village agriculture gardens and typical irrigation wells. In the end of the open fields there is an option to shortcut back to the village (1h) or you can continue straight to go down to the base of the "yellow cliff", by a technical and rocky path. After you climb steep to the ridge of the S.Joao mountain where dramatic views over the village, Lousã mountain and Zezere valley wait for you (you will meet a track that you can take to the left to shortcut - 2h). The final section is a steep downhill ending in the cork tree forest and old community corrals nest to the village.
