The route begins at CARA Center, in Vilarinho de S. Roque. From there, it goes towards the Lagar do Azeite bridge and passes in Cabeço dos Mouros - where it is possible to take a 300 m detour and see the remains of a megalithic monument –Mamoa de Castro. It then continues towards the ruins of an olive oil[newline]press and follows the bank of the Pequeno River, which [newline]overlooks the ancient villageof Telhadela. The route passes along[newline]the disabled mills near the complex of Palhal mines and proceeds towards the Palhal bridge- built in 1776 - that links the parishes of Branca and Ribeira de Fráguas. Continuing upstream the Fílveda River, here lies the Cabouco, an old mine where there used to be a drive wheel moved by water from the the Ingleses weir. Going now through the agricultural fields, it is possible to visit. Regatinho mills, the functioning molinological center and the chapel of S. Roque, from the 17th century.
