Being a difficult route which unfolds mostly in the mountains, it is 30.2 km long and has 920m of positive cumulative gap, with a maximum of 20.2% incline. It is characterized by being circular, starting and ending at the MTB Centre Serra Gardunha Norte, passing by Fundão, Alcongosta, Donas, Alcaide and the guardhouse, returning to the starting point. It goes through much of the northern slope of the Serra da Gardunha inbetween groves of cherry trees and fields, uncovering great scenic beauty of Cova da Beira, with the Serra da Estrela in the background.
