This walking trail starts next to Janeiro de Baixo fluvial beach and follows towards the Quartz gorge where Zêzere River looks like strangled. Known as «Antro dos Penedos», it is one of the most spectacular spots of the entire trail. The route continues climbing the Janeiro Mountain hillside with great views over Janeiro de Baixo Schist Village and its Zêzere river widding course. Arriving back to the village, by an ancient trail next to the river.
